Mark Kieffer holds a BA in Liturgical Music from St. John's University, Collegeville, MN. His emphasis was in organ performance with a minor in theology. From 1994 to 2015 he held two different full-time positions as Director of Music and Liturgy for Catholic parishes in Minnesota while serving as principal organist for weekend Masses, weddings and funerals. His organ teachers have included Kim R. Kasling and Katherine Handford, his piano teachers were Ramona McCullough and Fr. Jerome Coller, O.S.B., and his conducting teachers were Axel Theimer, Br. Paul Richards O.S.B. and David Dickau. He is adept at arranging music for varied resources and is a published handbell arranger.
